Learning Manager Primary

- incoming Spring 2008 -

The Current Situation

Digitalbrain has been running a full implementation of our primary learning platform within Cambridgeshire Local Authority since 2005, and it is now used extensively within 300 primary schools. This initiative, called Starz, has received considerable attention within the educational community including articles in the Times Education Supplement. Digitalbrain and Cambridgeshire Local Authority continue to work closely together to refine and develop this service.

New Developments

Recently Cambridgeshire have appointed an independent agency to work with their teachers and students to collate feedback and suggestions on navigation and application design, based on their experience of 24 months extensive use. The results of this consultation will feed into the development of the final vision of Learning Manager Primary ensuring the service’s educational integrity for all users.

What Now For You?

Digitalbrain would like to get all key clients involved in this stage of the process to engage with the Primary School community. Digitalbrain plans to roll out it’s primary product in stages, adding value each time, whilst incorporating feedback from users. This approach will enable LAs to comment and shape the product whist getting value from the outset. It will be possible to preview all developments prior to launch in order to prepare and evaluate their effectiveness.
