    Pupil Questionaire

This room was developed by Fiona MacCorquodale at St Lukes School. It is designed as an anonymous questionnaire for children to give their opinions about the school. The room was simply constructed by using the vote and forum tools. Each child can only contribute once to each vote and the results are instantly visible as percentages and graphs to the teacher in the room.

Once you have imported the template room into your school you can then edit the questions to suit your needs.

    Primary Staffroom

A basic but functional Staffroom template for a primary school. There are folders prepared  for staff to upload and share resources.

Staff should be added with 'Student / Write' level access to the room to allow them to participate in discussions and upload files but not edit the room themselves or delete other people's work. Selected staff (usually the SLT) should have 'Teacher / Delete' level access. These people will also have the ability to post 'News' items to the room.

    MLE Lesson Plans Room

These lessons have been written with the inexperienced MLE user in mind, be they teacher or pupil. They introduce the basic skills and vocabulary needed to begin to use the MLE. More experienced teachers may very well wish to adapt the lessons to fit in with their curriculum plan and they can be used with pupils of all ages new to the MLE.

The lessons are designed to be modelled and taught by the normal class teacher and are not really suitable to be given to supply teachers. It is also advisable to read the lesson plans in advance as some do require preparation to personalise them for your class or changes to settings that need to be done by your administrator - all these are explained in the lesson plans and accompanying help sheets.

Once each lesson is completed teachers can repeat them with similar activities they devise that fit into their overall curriculum plan, so embedding the use of the MLE into their teaching and enriching the learning for their pupils
