USO-FX (Secure File Exchange)

  • ​Free to all LGfL 2.0 connected schools
     
  • Secure method by which sensitive data can be transferred across schools’ LGfL links or Internet into the Council or other infrastructure
     
  • One to one, or one to many, secure file exchange service
     
  • Transmission, and permission to view or retrieve data, managed via LGfL USO
     
  • Can be protected by USO-OTP (One Time Password) Second Factor Authentication service

 
​This service is provided free to all LGfL 2.0 connected schools.

USO-FX (File eXchange) is a service that can be enabled for staff in LGfL local authorities which are subscribing to full USO. USO-FX provides a mechanism for online electronic document transfers across otherwise insecure broadband infrastructures in a secure (encrypted) manner.
