Why do I need JAVA?

Having JAVA installed on your system allows digitalbrain to work at full capacity, giving you our rich features such as our JAVA editor.

How do I Check if I have JAVA installed?

If you can see the falling balls below then you have JAVA installed and you do not need to choose from the following downloads. If you can't see the balls you should click on one of the links below.

We recommend the following Sun download: Netscape      

You may wish to use the Internet Explorer link below. This will take you to a Microsoft Page which automatically detects the version of Java you require; please be patient as it analyses your system configuration. There is not a download available for Windows XP through Microsoft.

Macromedia Flash 6 Player

Why do I need Flash?

This allows your browser to detect and play flash movie that occur throughout the site. It also allows the user to browse various aspects of the site that are rendered using Flash 6 including the directory of LEA’s and schools within the digitalbrain directory. Flash 6 allows a hierarchal structure such the directory to be navigated quickly without the need to refresh the page.

How do I Check if I have Flash installed?

It you cannot see the orange "You have Flash installed" banner below on the then you do not have Flash 6, click the Macromedia Flash 6 Player Logo to download.
