Profession Basically I work freelance as a BSL translator for the Screen or signs video clips for the website. Sometime I like to work in general media such as a Researcher for VEE TV.

How did you get into this profession? Basically I started training as a BSL translator for ITV 'Signpost' in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is how i moved to London when I became a MTV presenter.

What do you like about your job? Mainly the good things about my job is great team like good relationships with the manager, Editor, BSL Monitor and CSW. Excellent team work is the most important part of my career.

What do you not like about your job? These are no bad things about my role. Only that I receive more satisfaction when translating interesting programmes/subjects than dull ones.

Advice for those interested in following a similar career or for pupils planning courses/career generally?

Just follow your heart. If you really believe what you want to be, then DO IT........
