How did you get into this profession? I worked at RNID for 6 years and was offered the post of an Employment Adviser which I thoroughly enjoyed for 3 years

What does this job involve? I offered support and information, advice and guidance to Deaf people accessing mainstream employment and training. Also worked with employers offering consultancy to meet their commitment to DDA and Equal Opportunities.

3 words that describe you? Determined, Enthusiastic and Committed

What do you like about your job? Satisfaction. When a client got a job, their faces and joy made me a very happy person to have been able to help them achieve that.

What do you not like about your job? Too much paperwork to fill out!

Advice for those interested in following a similar career or for pupils planning courses/career generally?
