Wasps flanker Tom Rees made no efforts to play down the significance of England's victory over France, but only because he is determined to build on it against Wales this weekend.

Rees produced one of a number of eye-catching performances in a vibrant England display that lifted the gloom of their 43-13 defeat to Ireland.

Now Wales await on the Cardiff horizon, and the Wasps youngster is determined to take another step forward by securing a first win at the Millennium Stadium since the World Cup-winning year of 2003.
