Spurs battle through to beat Braga.

Tottenham advanced to the quarter-finals of the Uefa Cup with a 6-4 aggregate victory over Braga in the last 16 of the competition.

Following on from their 3-2 victory in Portugal, Martin Jol's free-scoring Spurs got another three goals at White Hart Lane.

After Tom Huddlestone had beaten Radek Cerny to bring Braga level, two first-half goals from the excellent Dimitar Berbatov had Spurs in command.

Andrade's excellent free-kick gave Braga hope, but Steed Malbranque wrapped up the tie with the home side's third goal 15 minutes from time.

Jol's side will now await their fate in Friday's draw in Glasgow after comfortably seeing off Braga over the two legs.
