Happy Slapping Ban

‘Happy Slap’ films have been totally banned in France due to a new law stating that only journalists are allowed to film any acts of violence and post them on the World Wide Web.

The maximum penalty for this offence is a fine of £50,000 and anywhere from one to five years in prison. Some locals think that criminals could easily disguise themselves as journalists whereas others hope that the government or anyone related would check their press passes before letting them start filming.

YouTube.com is a website where you can post anything from history to kids TV shows and happy slappers are now using this site to view and post mobile phone videos of happy slapping.
