Please be sure to check this webpage regularly. I do try to keep it up to date with news of what is happening in class each week. A copy of the Autumn term letter to parents, letter about reading in Year 2 and our timetable will be in the Autumn section of this page.
Thank you to the parents who have offered to come into class this Wednesday afternoon, 26th November. The children will be sewing their hand puppets and will need help threading needles and undoing unusual stictching!
Our next times tables test will be on Friday, 5th December. The test will be of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Please help your child to practice daily.
.We are lucky to have two trainee teachers working in our class until 3rd December. Their names are Miss Thorn and Miss Jazbinsek. They will be working closely with me and the children will benefit from having additional trained adults in the class.
We have started rehearsals for the Year 2 Nativity play that will be performed to parents at 2p.m. on Friday, 12th December in the first floor hall. Parents have received letters telling them about their child's part in the play and whether or not they will need to provide their own costume. Please help your child to learn the words to the songs with actions. They should know the tunes. Please also help them learn any lines they may have.
