Admissions

Parents are advised when their child enters Nursery that attendance at Nursery does not guarantee them a place in the main school.

For admissions at Reception level the criteria followed is – children with a sibling in the school have priority and then children living within the shortest walking distance to the school. Measurements for these distances are done by the LEA and strictly adhered to.

If we have any vacancies in classes for older children the above criteria does not apply but we do keep a waiting list which is in order of distance.

Places do occasionally become available within the school. Please do contact the school for current information on vacancies.

 Visits to the school

Prospective parents are welcome to visit the school by appointment throughout the year. You will be able to see the children in their classrooms and ask questions or discuss your particular problems with the Headteacher or a Senior member of staff. Usually we ask our older children to guide parents around the school because they are our best ambassadors!
