Dear Reader
Heathcote has undergone significant transformation over the past eight years and we are now recognised as a High Performing Specialist School with Applied Learning as a second specialism. This is particularly significant since it enables us to expand from an 11-16 to an 11-18 school under the high performing schools presumption process.
A sixth form at Heathcote would enable our students to continue their education in a familiar local setting, enhancing their chances of success. The consultation document explains our reasons for wanting to expand, the aims for a new sixth form and the presumption process in more detail.
There will be two information sessions at Heathcote on 18th June 2009, from 2 - 3pm and 6 - 7 pm.
