Using The Transition Upload Areas These areas have been designed to allow electronic versions of work (Word Docs, projects, slideshows, images etc) to be uploaded to a folder at the students Secondary School to share good practice and students abilities. To remind yourself how to upload files, click here Should you be promted for a password, this was given to schools in the letter detailing how to use the portals or can be found by contacting Christian Smith here
The portal areas can be used to share any work done in Year Six, with a primary focus on work achieved during the Y6/7 Transition Project (details of the 2 projects chosen by schools (year book and virtual museum) are available here or on the Transition CD-Rom provided to schools) that show students ICT capability. Please try to keep work clearly labelled either by primary school or pupil name to allow for easy searching. You may find it easier to "zip" the files together and only upload a single zip file with your primary school name
Support will be available on the 14th and 21st of June at the CLC from 3pm on using the portals and again on the 12th July from 1pm.
