School Uniform

Reception / Nursery Uniform

In the Nursery, the children's uniform has been modified to suit their age;

it is recommended that they wear the following:

Year 1 to Year 6

The Governors of Holy Family Catholic School expect the children to wear the school uniform.

Any combination of the following is acceptable:

In Addition

All clothing must be clearly marked with the child's name.

The school cannot accept responsibility for lost clothing.

All children must have plimsolls, shorts and T-shirt for Physical Education (White T-Shirt, Blue Shorts and white socks).
No jewellery is allowed – rings, chains or earrings, etc.
Studded earrings are allowed but not for any form of Physical
Education and must be taken out by the child.
It is the child’s responsibility to look after the earrings
If you are going to have your child’s ears pierced, this needs to
be done during the Summer Holidays – to enable them to remove
the earring(s) for PE.
All children must have a book bag in which they are to keep their
Reading Book and record, plus any homework they have.
Children should not throw their book bags around in the playground after school (books are very expensive and need to be read by many children)

A note regarding hair fashions…

Boys

Hair must be cut to a reasonable length. Boys are not allowed to have extreme hairstyles (mohicans, shaved hair with a pattern/logo, etc.).
