Webquests

A webquest is a self contained learning tool that can either be used individually by students or as a lesson activity. They are starting points of guided research leading to creative self-expression through multi-media or other end products. They illustrate the fundamental importance of the web for empowering global citizens.

A Webquest on DfID Funding

An introductory example of a webquest, for KS3, looks at funding priorities for the Department for International Development.

Primary Webquests

There is a growing range of webquests including exploring what sustainability means though on-line games to researching human rights issues to learning about local democracy and fairtrade...

Secondary Webquests

These webquests allow your students to be human rights detectives, acting as United Nations Special Rapporteurs, learning about human rights and the workings of the UN.
