The portable exhibitions contain new resources, artefacts, images, guidance and other suggestions for ways of teaching global citizenship across the curriculum.

Global Exhibitions:
This programme of exhibitions is designed to inform teachers about simple and effective ways of delivering global citizenship across the curriculum, for primary, secondary, special and early years. The exhibitions contain new resources, artefacts and images and offer guidance and suggestions for using them to deliver global citizenship across the whole curriculum.

   
 
Using Maps across the curriculum
Looking at different map projections and how they affect our attitudes to the world we live in, see ancient ideas of the world, and the world upside down!
 
Fair Trade across the curriculum
A widely growing area in our modern lives, that requires further investigation. This looks at a range of aspects of fair trade, from packaging, to geography links, using a range of new resources and highlighting the important of equal trading, and linking it to Global Citizenship.
 
Islamic & Arab contribution to life in 21st century Britain
An inspiring interactive exhibition looking at the huge variety of contributions that Arab and Muslim people have made both historically and recently to our lives, with many links to all areas of the curriculum.
 
Growing up Global: global education in the early years
based on the critically acclaimed early years resource Growing up Global, this bright and eye-catching exhibition uses artefacts, resources and pages from the pack to show a huge range of global citizenship activities that can be done with the early years.
 
Adinkra: a cross-curricular project on values & identity
Using the traditional method of Adinkra cloth printing from Ghana, this exhibition focuses on a range of activities to inspire and inform pupils about the country and it’s cultural practices, with case studies from schools involved in the project, and examples of children’s work.
 
Action for Sustainability: conserving forests in India
Three fascinating case studies of active global citizenship in India, to combat deforestation. This exhibition uses Sanchar puppets and other artefacts, with teaching materials to demonstrate the actions of individuals to save their environments in India.
 
Global Maths
Using vibrant, interesting artefacts from a variety of different countries to look at estimation, numbers and number systems, calculations, handling data and measures, shape and space.
 
China in the World: the World in China
A comprehensive and interactive look at the diversity within China, challenging some of our preconceptions, and also examining China’s contribution to the rest of the world.
 
Black British History & the National Curriculum
A timeline of black British history linked to National Curriculum topics, and using newly published teaching materials and artefacts.
 
Action for Sustainability: reusing and recycling across Africa
A new and exciting way of teaching about sustainability, and challenging some assumptions about the continent of Africa, using a diverse range of examples of innovative recycling and reusing of materials in African countries, from contemporary artists to making chickens out of carrier bags.
