Saturday Music Centre
The THAMES Saturday Music Centre runs at Phoenix School in Bow. The centre offers wide range of instrumental and vocal activities which cater for students between the ages of 7-18.

- Are you a student at school having instrumental/vocal lessons each week?
- Do you really enjoy your instrumental/vocal lessons?
- Do you display enthusiasm and are you looking for something extra in your musical activities?

If the answer to these questions is ‘yes’, then THAMES can offer them the opportunity to join the THAMES Saturday Music Centre.

- We are looking to recruit new members and are looking for vocalists and players of all instruments, from elementary through to advanced standard.
- The applicants need to already be having instrumental/vocal lessons in school, Monday to Friday.
- Instrumental/vocal tutors will recommend pupils who show enthusiasm and a desire to improve/develop their all-round musicianship skills.
- The centre takes place on Saturday mornings from 9.15am till 12.30pm at Phoenix School, Mile End Road, London, E3.
- Each student member will be fully engaged in 4 sessions of music making each week and they will have a choice of options for part of the morning.
- Sessions are split into Instrumental and Vocal groups, Ensembles and General Musicianship classes.
