In Reception 1 we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage which encourages a creative and active approach to learning.  The play based curriculum is taught through six areas of learning: Personal, Social and Emotional Development; Communication, Language and Literacy; Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development; and Creative Development.

This term we are learning about 'Familiar Stories' including Each Peach Pear Plum, Owl Babies, Oi Get Off Our Train, We're Going On A Bear Hunt, Dear Zoo and The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

 We enjoy making things and being creative!
