Charging Policy The school will seek voluntary contributions from parents for certain items and activities. No pupil will be disadvantaged due to financial hardship.
Please contact the school for further details. As well as providing basic school equipment, such as pens, pencils etc, we ask that parents purchase a Student Planner for their child each year. Parents may be asked for voluntary contributions to pay for ingredients and material used in practical lessons. The school will charge for, or require the supply of, ingredients or materials if parents have indicated a wish to own the finished product. The Governors have stated their intention to recover from parents the cost of breakages, damages or losses to property belonging to the school, where this is a result of a pupil's inappropriate behaviour. The Governors have stated their intention to recover from pupils the cost of any fees wasted by non-attendance at public examinations. Charges for instrumental musical tuition were introduced in all Richmond schools from 1st September 1992. Full details are available from the school.
