Religious Education at Hampton Junior school gives pupils the opportunity to explore issues within and between faiths. It helps to develop pupils' sense of identity and belonging, preparing them for life as citizens in a plural society. It does not seek to urge religious beliefs on children nor to compromise the integrity of their own beliefs. Artefacts from the major world faiths are often used to engage the pupils interest and act as a starting point to units of study. The termly Curriculum plans which each year group sends home shows the areas of religious education being studied for the term.
