The school is keen to  promote music throughout the school. In addition to timetabled lessons the school works with the Richmond Music Trust and other professionals to provide music tuition during school time. In 2007/8 over 100 children were learning a musical instrument.

The wider opportunities initiative has worked with Year groups to raise awareness of music to those children who otherwise would not have access to the world of music.

Building on last year's successful Brass experience in Year 5, Year 4 are having 8 weeks of free tuition which will culminate in a concert to be performed by each class. See your news notes for details.
