Matthew Hall of Seven Kings High School utilised the British Pathe News Archive to enhance his teaching of the News unit in GCSE Media.

"The Pathe archive has been a valuable resource in the teaching of GCSE Media Studies. As part of the course, students are asked to compare the messages that the news sends, and comment on how these messages may have changed over time. The children enjoyed seeing how news was presented 50 years ago, and the clips often provoked topical discussions about how issues are represented in the news."
