The British Pathe Digital News Archive contains 3500 hours of film covering news, sport, social history and entertainment from 1896 to 1970. Thanks to a deal with the Regional Broadband Consortia, schools are able to download high resolution video at no cost to use for educational purposes. Two secondary schools in Redbridge have used the British Pathe archive for teaching and learning - follow the links to their projects. |
