Rail: Only 7-10 minutes’ walk from Ilford Railway station, which is on the main line from Liverpool Street. Cross the road towards Woolworths and bear left towards the taxi rank at the end of Balfour Road. Walk along Balfour Road to the Teachers' Centre.

Directions: The Teachers' Centre Car Park in Melbourne Road can only be approached by car via Balfour Road because of one-way system. From Cranbrook Road, take Coventry Rd, second right into Granville Rd, over mini roundabout, left into Balfour Rd, second left into Melbourne Rd.

From Ley Street, take Christchurch Rd, first left into Thorold Rd, right into Adelaide Rd, right into Balfour Rd, left into Melbourne Rd.

Parking: if the Teachers' Centre Car Park is full, use the Multistorey Car Park on Ley Street (entrance at the junction with Adelaide Road). Alternatively, some of the roads to the north of the Teachers' Centre have no meters.
