LUNCH
•Our school kitchen provides a variety of meals at lunchtime, including a vegetarian choice each day.
•School meals must be paid for on a Monday. It is easier for everyone if this can be done by cheque.
•Children may bring a packed lunch if they wish; lunch boxes should be clearly marked.
•Some children are entitled to free school meals, do not hesitate to apply if you think that you are eligible. Application forms are available from the Education Office at Lynton House. If your child has any special dietary needs please let us know when your child starts school.
•Children who go home for lunch should not return before 1.00 pm (Reception, Year 1 and Year 2), or 1.20 pm (Years 3, 4, 5, and 6).
•We aim to promote healthy eating in school and value your support in this effort. Children may bring in a healthy snack to eat at playtime, eg fruit, carrot sticks, plain biscuits, savoury biscuits (no crisps or chocolate of any kind).
Please note that no nuts or products containing nuts may be brought into school as we have a
number of children with severe nut allergies.
