Why Health & Social Care

Health and Social care is one of Oak Park's newest subjects. It is more of a vocational course and is ideally situated within the Oaks Park curriculum, as it will support students who have the ability to work at a GCSE level but find exams difficult.
The curriculum will be an active and interactive program. Students will spend some valuable time in the work place and gather valuable experience for their assignments and their future career.
Health and Social Care students can go on to get a job at the end of their Level 2 or continue to Level 3 and progress on to a management career or into university for an even bigger future. Whatever a student decides with the help of others, we are here to support our students and enable them to be successful.
