Application Process - Oaks Park Students
1. Fill in application form and return it to the School Office. Deadline for applications - April.
2. Your application and school record will be discussed by Sixth Form staff.
3. All applications will be acknowledged and if your school record is satisfactory we will invite you to an interview. You will need to bring your record of achievement with you. We will ask you about your achievements, your attitude to study and your long term plans. Your parents will also be invited to attend the interview.
4. If all the requirements for study are met, you will be made a conditional offer based on your ability to meet the entry criteria. We would like as many students as possible from Oaks Park to stay on to our Sixth Form as long as requirements for our courses are met.
5. There will be a Sixth Form Open Evening (date to be confirmed).
Application Process - Students from Other Schools

2. We will send for references from your present school.
3. All applications will be acknowledged and if your school record is satisfactory we will invite you to an interview. You will need to bring your record of achievement with you. We will ask you about your achievements, your attitude to study and your long term plans. Your parents will also be invited to attend the interview.
4. If requirements for study are fulfilled and your reference from your present school is good, you will be made a conditional offer based on your ability to meet the entry criteria.
5. There will be a Sixth Form Open Evening (date to be confirmed).
Next Steps
1. Selected applicants will be invited to our Introduction Day in July and given details of registration for September.
2. In August, students who meet the conditions of their offer will automatically be given a place. If students do not meet the conditions, their place is not guaranteed but they will be put on a reserve list for the places that are available.
Sixth Form Registration
In September you will register for the courses that you have chosen with the subject staff, who will also be able to discuss your choices with you in detail. You must bring your GCSE results slips to confirm your results.
