The IJPS Toddler Group provides an ideal way for new mums and dads and their children to socialise and make friends. Of course, we also welcome grandparents and carers if parents are unable to come along.

The Toddler Group offers a multitude of activities in a safe, clean and happy setting.

In the ‘Art Corner’, children can squish and squash Play-Doh and plasticine, create their own masterpieces in a range of mediums including paint, crayon or pencil.

We have a ‘Home Corner’ where our little ones can ‘put on a load of washing’, ‘cook-up a pan of chicken soup’ and even ‘wash-up’ afterwards! We have a great range of toys including bricks, blocks, inset puzzles, a dressing-up box, baby-walkers, ‘ride-on’ toys and a great range of books.

The children enjoy our mini-Shabbat Party each week when we welcome in Shabbat and light the candles. They also join in with the blessings for challah and wine and then enjoy a delicious range of healthy nosh!

We continue with imaginative/free playtime where the children are able to interact with their peers and the adults can chat and get to know one another.

Towards the end of the morning things slow down for story-time when we all sit in a circle and sing nursery rhymes accompanied by our own form of ‘percussion’ to the sound of drums, bells, tambourines and xylophones!

As the morning draws to a close, the ‘Magic Bubble Machine’ puffs out hundreds of bubbles and the the Toddlers dance around trying to catch and pop them!

We aim to provide a stimulating, educational and fun environment at The IJPS Toddler Group. With the help of other parents setting up/putting away and the ongoing donations of toys and books, we look forward to welcoming more babies and toddlers with their parents, grandparents and carers alike!
