Sunflower success In April, one of our Assembly themes was about seeds. We thought about how last year's flower died, but left the seed of new life ready to rise again from the ground this year. Then everyone took home a few sunflower seeds. Lots were planted, watered and tended into healthy plants and bold, bright flowers. Jake, Ben and Alex have brought in photos of their spectacularly successful sunflowers, which are more than 3 metres tall. Alex also brought a seed head half a metre in diameter!
