St. William of York is a one form entry Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School, opened in
1970 and situated next door to the parish
church of St. William of York.

The purpose of St. William of York Primary
School is to educate the children of the
Catholic community in Forest Hill, of which the school is a part, in a manner which reflects the Christian values of the Church's teachings.

The school aims to provide a learning environment within a Christian setting in which the children can grow in understanding.

Through a broad and balanced curriculum, St. William of York School endeavours to equip each child with the necessary skills, attitudes, values and knowledge in preparation for their adult life, always setting the highest expectations whilst supporting those who need help to do their best
