In class 4 we are...
Thoughtful, kind, happy, friendly,
sharing, good listeners
good workers, polite, and careful!
We had a visit from London Fire Brigade.
We listened very carefully to what Paul told us.

He told us about fire alarms and how they help to
save lives in a fire.

We pretended to be asleep.
When the fire alarm went off we had to wake up and shout
'FIRE, FIRE
GO OUTSIDE!!'

We also did some role-play.
We acted out what to do if there was a fire in the house.

Remember Mums and Dads, to check the batteries in our fire alarms
every two weeks to make sure they work!

James Carter, a children's poet, came to our class
and wrote some poetry with us.

We performed our poem in the key stage 1
poetry performance.
We wrote our own list poems.
Come and have a look at them at parent's evening.

Jane taught us some dance moves.
Jumping and Twisting!

Skip eight steps to the left and then skip eight steps to the right!

Having a go at Morris dancing -
'The run-away train ran down the track and she blew, she blew!'

Dancing around the May Pole!

You can see a short video clip of us dancing around
the maypole at parent's evening.
We had so much fun!
