As part of the school's Sustainability Week 2006 we made 'junk' models and scrap pictures and entered the Lambeth Scrapheap Challenge competition for the best item of artwork made from recycled materials. The following children won prizes for their entries: Biance, Suna, Jovan, and Tanica, Samuel & Marian. They won book tokens to the value of £10. Also, Tanica, Samuel and Marian have been awarded the Borough Prize which is £1,000 for our school to spend on resources! This is a great achievement by these children and we would all like to thank them for their excellent work. Here is some of our work and the winning entries...
