Lambeth Children’s Centres
Lambeth’s children are the centre of attention …
Lambeth is placing Children’s Centres at the heart of providing integrated services for families. Research shows that providing integrated education, childcare, family support and health services are critical in ensuring the best outcomes for children and families.
Why are Children’s Centres important to Lambeth?
- Children’s Centres will enable Lambeth to re-shape and improve care and education for under 5’s.
- Children’s Centres will provide help, support and health services, that have proved so valuable to families who have benefited from Sure Start local programmes in the past.
- Childcare places will be increased, allowing more families to access work and training opportunities.
- Lambeth’s children will have the benefit of early years education and health support as they receive high quality childcare.
