Uniform

 

Importance is attached to smart appearance. All children except the Nursery are expected to wear uniform. Parents are asked to ensure that no child is sent to school in any other attire.

Girls: Purple Sweatshirt with logo; White polo shirt; Grey Skirt, Culottes, Pinafore or Tailored School Trousers; Plain dark shoes (not trainers). Purple check Summer Dress or Skirt (optional). (Leggings, casual trousers, bootleg cut trousers, tracksuit trousers are not uniform.)

Boys: Purple Sweatshirt with logo; White polo shirt; Grey Tailored Trousers or Shorts: Plain dark shoes (not trainers). Casual trousers, tracksuit trousers are not uniform.

The school sweatshirt and school fleece jacket can be obtained only from the school. The rest of the uniform is available from the major departmental stores. Sensible school footwear is essential. Umbrellas can be very dangerous and must not be brought to school. ALL ITEMS OF CLOTHING AND FOOTWEAR MUST BE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THE CHILD'S NAME.

Jewellery should not be worn to school and the teachers cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage. No child wearing earrings will be allowed to take part in P.E. (please note it is not acceptable for these to be taped up). If you wish to have your child's ears pierced please wait until the start of the long summer holiday.
