May I remind all parents that children should be on the playground before 8.55am (Reception to Year 6) so that they are ready to line up with the class and enter the school with their teacher to start the day on time. Nursery children should be ready to enter school at 9am. It is very disruptive for your child and others if they are late into class. If, for any reason, you arrive late to school you and your child must come to the office and let us know that you are here. Not doing so could result in your child not being marked in the register and the office being unaware that your child is in the school building. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
FOSGS are busy with plans for what looks like a very entertaining Summer Fayre. Again, the committee is asking for helpers. Please fill in the slip at the bottom of the yellow FOSGS’ letter and let us know if you can offer some support. Without more volunteers, the next FOSGS event is at risk of being cancelled.
Thank you for all the Tesco Vouchers that you have sent into the school. This campaign finishes on Sunday and the school must redeem all its vouchers by Monday 22nd June. Please send your vouchers in by Friday 19th June – we will not be able to redeem any that we receive after this date.
The end of year reports will be sent out to you at the beginning of July. If you family requires two copies, please let us know and let us have the address to which we should send the second copy, if appropriate – thank you.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend
Yours sincerely
Ms M Buckby
