Assemblies

Each class performs an assembly to parents and the school each term. The newsletter and your child will let you know the date and time of their performance.

Summer & Christmas Fayres

The Summer and Christmas Fayre are organised by the Friends of Spring Grove School. These are fun fundraising events for the school to which everyone is invited and which you are welcome to help with. Many other activities for children and adults are arranged by FOSGS.

Trips & Educational Visits

Each class usually goes on one trip each term. You will receive a letter with details of cost and planned activities. A voluntary contribution will be requested. Sometimes parents are asked to join us.

Educational visits are planned to support and develop the area of study being explored by a year group. Visits take place each term and a wide variety of locations are selected. We believe that there are great benefits to children from such first hand experience. We aim to encourage links with our community by arranging visits to local places of interest as well as more distant locations. We ask parents for a voluntary contribution to help fund these events. We always try to keep costs to a minimum. No child will be excluded because parents are unable to pay. Visitors and outside speakers from the local community also come into school regularly.
