What if my child has an accident or is taken ill at school?

We will look after your child and you will be contacted if it is serious.

In the case of an accident which is considered serious, a member of staff will accompany your child to hospital if you are not present.

It is vital that the school office has up to date contact numbers for you during school hours.

Minor accidents (bumps and bruises, etc) are dealt with by trained first-aiders and a record of all incidents and treatment is kept in our medical room. If your child receives a minor bump on the head, you will receive a note at the end of the day informing you.
