Castle Capers
Click to print a copy of this page

We have had great fun and learned a lot about what it was like to live in a castle. We have visited castles, had a 'medieval man' to visit, had stories and songs about knights, and made many different things that you would see in or around a castle.  We have had a special Castle Capers week, displaying some of our work in the hall and performing dances, songs and stories to our visitors.

Come in, past the soldier and over the drawbridge.

Class 6 made drawbridges in DT.

We made lots of different castles.

What is in the dark, dark dungeon?

We made shields like the knights used.

We did some weaving - can you see the patterns?

We watched some eggs hatch into lovely chicks.
