It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the website for the Frances Bardsley School for Girls, a school which has provided an exemplary education for girls aged from eleven to eighteen for one-hundred years.

Our school was founded in 1906 by Miss Frances Bardsley to give girls a first-rate education which would enable them to acquire the qualifications, confidence and freedom to achieve success. Her vision, originality and pioneering spirit is equally as relevant today as we prepare our girls to take their place with poise and self-assurance in the technologically advanced society of the twenty-first century.
