Havering - Beijing Project Havering is entering into a partnership with Beijing schools. Teachers from 4 Havering schools will be visiting Beijing in 2006 to establish long-term links. Havering is the least culturally diverse borough in London but is keen to forge links to bring multicultural enrichment to pupils, encouraging global understanding and points of view. Staff from 4 primary schools are hoping to visit Beijing over the Summer half term break to establish the links. |
