These collages were inspired by the beautiful Muswell Hill autumn time. We used leaves that we had collected to help us represent autumn creatures, such as hedgehogs, birds and butterflies. It was good fun using brightly coloured chalks on black paper.

We enjoyed reading a book called ‘The House Cat’ by Helen Cooper so much that it inspired us to make our own cat collages! We drew our cats and then chose materials to cut and stick in our own pictures.

Our art topic this first term has been self-portraits. For these pencil drawings we focused on our faces, looking at our features and working hard to put them all in proportion.
