Future building works

A recent bid we made for substantial funding to make major improvements throughout the school has been successful. In the very near future the vast majority of the school will be rewired and the classrooms and surrounded areas refurbished. This will be a huge project carried out over a number of weeks, the details of which we will inform you of once a preferred contractor has been chosen.
Please remember to support the school by making your levy contributions. The amount of levy money will determine the amount and quality of refurbishment we can afford to make. As a Catholic school we have to pay 10 % of the total cost. The Diocese will be reluctant to support us as according to current records a number of families have made no contribution at all this academic year.

Since September we have collected £2,960.

Thanking you to all those who have and will support us.

Web Site

We are currently developing the school web site.

The web address is:

 www.st-pauls.haringey.lgfl.net

If you would like to visit it in its early stages please feel welcome.

PTA Meeting

Thank you to those parents who attended the PTA Meeting. Some constructive ideas were discussed and will be used in forthcoming events. A date for our International Evening has been set for Friday 4th July.

A letter with more details and information will be sent out by our PTA Committee.

Disability Equality Duty in school

Thank you to those who have returned the Disability Equality Scheme Questionnaire. If you haven’t yet done so you can send them in next week.

Our school has to write and implement a disability equality policy and we would welcome input from any parents with disabilities e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, hearing or sight impairments, mobility difficulties.  We are looking to set up a working group to help us take a more pro-active approach to promoting disability, equality and eliminating discrimination.

Many thanks

Peter Keane.
