At Earlsmead we know we are part of a world wide community. Some of our teachers have been visiting schools in Spain, India, Ghana and China.  We keep in contact with these schools via e-mail or posting letters to each other.

The Year 4's have been learning about a village in India, called Chembakoli. They have been comparing England with India. Some of our teachers went to visit schools in India. They had a great time meeting the teachers and students there. Ms Manuel went to visit some schools in Spain and Ms Head went to schools in Ghana. Ms Gosling will be working in Ghana next year. We are looking forward to her photographs and e-mails.

At this stage we have been awarded an Intermediate International Schools Award. We are working towards a Full International Award. More teachers will be visiting schools around the world.
