PE lessons are on Wednesdays and swimming is on Thursdays. Please ensure that your child has their PE/swimming kits, as these lessons are a part of the curriculum, and have a role in learning skills and habits for a healthy life-style. | _________________ In December, the class spent the day at the City Learning Centre, consolidating their ICT learning on controlling devices. During the day, the children learned how to program a model car's movements, change traffic lights, and control a sequence of fairy light changes. To see some of their work, click here.

Homework days Maths homework is given out on Friday, and should be in by the following Wednesday. Spellings go out on Friday, and the children are tested the following Friday - the children can take their corrected spelling books home over the weekend so that parents can see what they have done well in, and where they need further support. Reading and Writing homework will be given on the day your child's group reads with the teacher - homework will normally be expected back 2-3 days later (exact timespan is written in the homework diary). ____________________________ We also visited a recycling project, where we made our own paper using a liquidiser!
