We offer a very warm welcome to you and your children and thank you for showing an interest in Montbelle Primary School. We hope you will find this information a useful introduction to our school and that it provides you with an insight to the ethos of our school.

MONTBELLE J.M. & I is a county primary school; this means that we operate within a framework which is set by Greenwich Council. Mrs. Jenny Marshall is our Headteacher and Mr. Steve Offord is our Chair of Governors. A list of staff and Governors is available from the school office.

We had an extremely successful OfSTED inspection in May 2007:-

“Taking into account the high standards attained by pupils at the ages of seven and eleven, the overall good quality of teaching, and the good leadership and management, the school is ever more effective and continues to provide good value for money”

 We are a  two form entry school with a Nursery class which offers  fifty part time places.
