Schools Clubs at Firs Farm

Listed below are various clubs held here at our school. 
If your child is interested in attending any of the clubs, 
please speak to the office or our PE Co-Ordinator, Mr Wilson.

Monday:     Arsenal Football Club 3.30pm - 5.00pm

Have a great time... make new friends and improve your soccer skills at Arsenal Soccer School.  We will be running a course during September/October 2008 term time.  The courses are open to boys and girls aged 6-12 years with an emphasis on fun and enjoyment and are structured to cater for children of all abilities to enable them to improve their skills. 

The Game Plan: Warming up, stretching and reaction games, Coaching and development sessions covering techniques and team play.  Sessions include: passing, control, dribbling, running with the ball, heading, shooting, attacking and defending.  Small sided matches and tournaments.

What to Bring:  Seasonally appropriate clothing, shin-pads (must be worn), football boots and training shoes.  Plenty to drink (non fizzy). All coaches are FA qualified, hold a First Aid Certificate and have been Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked. 

Tuesday:     Tottenham Football Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Tottenham Hotspur will be running a football coaching course for boys and girls in Years 1,2, 3,4,5 and 6.

The course commences on Tuesday 16th September until the 21st October 2008.

The session is coached by a Tottenham Hotspur FA qualified professional coach who will be responsible for the children duirng the course.  The course will concentrate on improving general football skills, as well as playing small sided matches and tournaments.

What to Bring:  Seasonally appropriate clothing, shin-pads (must be worn), football boots and training shoes.  Plenty to drink (non fizzy).   

Wednesday:     Japanese Karate 8.00am - 8.50am

Karate/Self Defence classes have been held here by a fully qualified instructor Louis Loizou for over four years for years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6.  They are very popular with many of the children who attend.  If your child is interested, please obtain a form from the school office for more information.

         Wednesday:     Kidzercise 3.30pm - 4.30pm   
Kidzercise has been running successfully for over two years.  The club is for boys and girls in years 1, 2 and 3 who want to keep fit by incorporating yoga, dance style aerobics, expression through music, obstacle courses and games in a fun exercising session.

The club is run by Gina Nicolaou who is a fully train dance specialist.  Sessions cost £3 payable in advance and are held in the small hall.  If your child would like to take part, please obtain a form from the school office.

Thursday:     Drama 3.30pm - 4.30pm

If your child wishes to attend our drama club they will learn how to perform, develop excellent social skills needed in everyday life.  All of this whilst having a great time and at a price which is affordable to all.  We will make your child feel welcome. Over a period of time, your child will benefit greatly from attending drama classes.  For more information, please obtain a form from the school office.   

          Friday:    Dance Club  3.30 - 4.30pm
Street Dance Club has been running for over two years.  The club is available for boys and girls in years 4, 5 and 6 who want to learn choreographed 'street' dance routines to popular music.

The club is run by Gina Nicolaou who is a fully trained dance specialist.  Sessions cost £3 payable in advance and are held in the small hall.  If interested please obtain a form from the school office.

 Gym Club 3.30 - 4.30pm - Every Thursday - We are getting ready to enter the Enfield Gym festival

Dance Club- 3.30 - 4.30pm -Every Tuesday - We are getting ready to enter the Enfield Gym festival

Cross Country Club 3.30 - 4.30pm Summer Term  - We enter the Mayor's Fun run every September. This year we were the school with the highest number of entries. 21 of us ran including our Headteacher and parents.
