Ealing Library Services

There are 12 public libraries in the borough where you can borrow items from books to jigsaws. Computer training courses are also available from the Learning Centre at Northolt library.

Ealing's libraries provide books and tapes for babies, toddlers, children and teenagers. From board books and nursery rhymes to stories and information books, whatever your interests. They have stories on tape and CD and there are children's videos and DVDs. (You will need an adult to borrow these for you).

Children aged 0-10 years can borrow seven items, and 11-16 year olds can borrow ten items. Most libraries hold storytime sessions for children under five.

Bounce into books

You’re never too young to enjoy sharing a good book. Bookstart, the first national books-for-babies programme in the world, has launched a new pack of free books. Bookstart is aimed at toddlers aged 18 months to 30 months, and is perfect for encouraging your child to enjoy pictures and words. Join us at our coffee mornings and pick up your free Bookstart packs.

The following libraries will be holding these sessions:

Pitshanger Library - Tuesday 17 October, 2-4pm

West Ealing Library - Tuesday 14 November, 10-12pm
