WOW! Scientrific stuff goes on at West Acton. We have budding scientists at our school who love to investigate and experiment! Children will learn to investigate Living Processes and Living Things, Materials and their Properties, Physical Processes and they will develop knowledge and understanding of experimental scientific investigation.

Children will learn to enquire about science and think about the different properties of strands. Science is taught progressively and allows students to make links from year to year.

Try some of these experiments and investigations at home with your children. Ask them to explain what has happened. Older children will be able to record results and write a summary of what they have found.
