School Mission Statement
The School's attitudes and values are centred in the Christian faith which influences every activity and relationship in which the Staff, Governors, Parents and Children work together.
At St. Saviour's we aim to:
Promote worship and prayer in accordance with the teachings of the Church of England, strengthened and maintained by the close and permanent connection of the school and the parish of Christ the Saviour.
Nurture the spiritual growth of young children and their sense of awe and wonder
Foster positive self-image, a sense of care for one another in school and to develop an awareness of everyone’s responsibilities and needs in the wider world
Maintain a happy atmosphere in which the confidence and talents of individual children may thrive, so that each child may fulfil their potential
Create a stimulating environment in which young children are encouraged to have enquiring minds and become actively involved in their own learning
Teach a broad and balanced programme of learning in accordance with the national curriculum and to achieve consistently high standards.
