The running club meets on Wednesday morning at 8.00am. All Year 5 and Year 6s are welcome and its aim is to promote the profile of running. NES has always had great athletes. The weather is nearly always fine and there's nothing nicer than jogging across the bunkers in the school grounds, running down Summerfield Road and turning left into the park.

Most of us run a couple of circuits, some run three and the social runners manage one, patting the odd dog on the way.

Children bring their breakfast. All of us have a great time and we even manage a social in the last week of term, when we visit Oscars or buy in some pastries.
